Cavalière beach can be found within walking distance thanks to a small pedestrian path that connects it to the domain. Le Lavandou, Rayol-Canadel-sur-Mer and Cavalaire-sur-Mer are just a short drive away, as is Saint-Tropez.

The streets and clubs of bustling Saint-Tropez are just a short drive to the north while a quieter vibe can be found towards the south of the peninsula. Inland highlights are the charming town centers of Ramatuelle and Gassin.

13. Affordable Villa in Saint-Aygulf

The outdoor area is compact but comfortable. The upper level comprises a seating area, a barbecue, sun beds, and a square-shaped pool as well as offers views over the bay of Saint-Raphael. The lower level has a seating area and a pétanque court.

Saint-Aygulf is situated near Fréjus, about halfway between Saint-Tropez and Cannes. There are plenty of wonderful beaches in the area. The closest one is just a 5-minute drive away. Also, golf courses, tennis courts, and local water parks can be found nearby.

14. Villa Saf Saf in Cannes

If exclusive is what you’re after, then you’ll love this stunning seafront villa in Cannes. It’s situated right on the coastline east of Cannes. Watch the sunrise over the Mediterranean and the Lérins islands from the balcony or from one of the seaview bedrooms. 

There are 6 bedrooms, each comes with a safe and an ensuite bathroom. The living space open onto a generously-sized seafront terrace. The seasonally heated and secured pool is located just a few steps below. You’ll also enjoy direct access to the sea. Kayaks, paddling boards and snorkel gear are provided. Other family-friendly facilities are a trampoline and a pingpong table.

Note that the access to the villa is a bit inconvenient: Private parking is available across the street. From there, you’ll need to cross the street by means of a pedestrian light that stops the traffic – and climb a flight of steps to reach the villa. You can walk to Cannes or take a short drive to discover the natural beauty of Cap d’Antibes.

15. Villa Dadou in Cassis

One of our favorites in this list of French villas with pools is this wonderful home. The 6 bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom, offer enough space to sleep 12 guests. The bedrooms give direct access to the outdoor patio. A large living room and fully-equipped bright blue kitchen are located on the 1st floor. This bright open-plan space is wrapped by a generously-sized panoramic balcony. The outdoor seating area is shaded by means of a sail and equipped with a barbecue and a plancha.

The vast manicured olive-tree-dotted garden is a true delight. It features a beautiful swimming pool, a pétanque court, and several sun loungers. The garden overlooks a scenic landscape of vineyards and sea as well as the ochre-colored Cap Canaille.

A 20-minute walk is all it takes to reach the center of Cassis.

The first Languedoc villa on our list is this beauty in the heart of the Camargue. It has 2 double bedrooms, one of which comes with its ensuite bathroom, and 1 triple room with a single and bunk bed. Two additional guests can sleep on the sofa bed.

The spacious living area and fully-equipped open kitchen connect seamlessly to the backyard deck. That’s where you’ll find a bar, a kitchenette with plancha, and plenty of seating options. The beautiful pool is the focal point. It’s heated to 29°C and secured with an alarm. It’s an excellent house for families because the pool can be perfectly observed from the kitchen. Children’s books and toys are available as well.

This beautiful French villa with secured access is nestled in a pine forest.  Bicycles are available so that guests can explore the surroundings. From the nearby manade or horse ranch to the olive grove and the farm store to the old medieval city of Aigues Mortes. Cultural hotspots Nîmes, Arles, and Montpellier are just a short drive away.

This contemporary home is one of the few villas in the South of France with a private pool near the beach in this list. It features 4 double bedrooms, 2 of which with an ensuite bathroom and 2 others with a shared bathroom. Quality finishes throughout, from the indoor kitchen with its granite worktop to the outdoor kitchen with its wood-burning barbecue.

Kids will love the outdoor space. The pool is heated to 28°C and comes with a shallow part perfect for paddling. There’s also a playground with a swing, a wooden hut, a trampoline, and a table tennis table. The landscaped garden truly is a beautiful and tranquil oasis.

Location-wise, this modern villa can be found right around the corner from Rochelongue Beach, near the Cap d’Agde international tennis center and golf course.
