When to plan a stay at one of these European luxury family resorts?
We love everything about the Med but there’s a downside: Prices tend to go through the roof during Europe’s summer break in July and August. Staying at one of the more prestigious hotels will not be an option for the average family. You may find a steal if you book early but that’s a long shot. In order to get access to these exclusive properties for a more reasonable price, a change in your mindset is required: traveling off-season.
- Plan your family travel adventure during the Easter holiday in April.
- Or go for the extended weekends in the month of May.
- Start your family holiday in the final days of June.
- Or plan your family break in the Mediterranean during the last week of August.
It might not be as hot as in the heart of summer but that’s usually a good thing. Slightly cooler weather will allow you to see much more of the surroundings than you would on a hot summer day. And if the property has a heated pool then you might not even notice the difference in temperature.
Which luxury family resort in the Mediterranean is your favorite?
Now, we canโt wait to find out what you think of it! Spotted a new favorite? Longing for more? If so, then you must be just as much of a hotel geek as we are.
